Welcome to Endeavour!
Mr Cox, “Endeavour” Class Teacher
Welcome to Woolaston School. I am thrilled to continue the challenge of teaching the Year 6 class; I will strive to ensure that each and every child in my class reaches their potential.
I began my teaching career through teaching PE before moving onto Primary, where I now thoroughly enjoy teaching a range of subjects. I am an active person who loves walking, running, cycling and tackling mountains.
As a teacher, I see it as my role to provide the children with a safe environment to develop academically, spiritually and socially. I enjoy seeing the children develop independence and a more mature understanding of the world around them. Every child is unique and capable of voicing their views and opinions on the learning they partake in and the events that occur around them. I am particularly interested in allowing the children to express and articulate these views as we work our way through the curriculum.
Homework will be distributed in the children's homework folders on Fridays. I expect it to be completed by the following Thursday at the latest. Homework queries can be sent to the class email address: email@example.com
Spellings will be distributed - virtually - on Fridays. Children will have a week to practise their spellings before being tested the following Friday. Please find the spellings below.
