Applying for a primary school place – Admission to Reception 2026
Applications for admission to Reception 2026 are processed by Gloucestershire County Council. Please refer to their admissions page for further information.

Admission to Reception at Primary School 2026
Admissions to Reception for September 2026 are dealt with by the Co-ordinated Admissions Team at Gloucestershire County Council. Applications for 2026 intake will need to be submitted between November 2025 and 15 January 2026. Please see key dates of the process below:

Applying for a place during the school year
If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons, you will need to apply for a school place by contacting us directly using the forms below.
Please note an application is not an in year application if your child is due to start school in Reception in September 2026 for the first time. In this circumstance please refer to Gloucestershire County Council admissions page.
Once the forms has been completed you will need to return the form to school either by post or by email to admin@woolaston.gloucs.sch.uk
