Year 3 / 4 - Robin Class

Welcome to Year 3 and 4- the first step and beyond into KS2!

Welcome to Robin Class, Mrs Gomersall will teach the children in Year 3/4 alongside Mrs Winstone.  Mrs Gomersall teaches the class all day on a Monday and Tuesday. Mrs Winstone will teach the children on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Our PE day is a Monday.

We are really looking forward to supporting the children this year, ensuring every child is able to achieve their full potential, whilst developing their independence and love for learning.

Alongside the Teaching Staff, Miss Niblett, Miss Green and  Miss Boswell will be supporting the teaching and learning in the class.

Homework 

To reduce the amount of paper being sent to and from school, homework will be distributed virtually on a Friday. Please ensure that the homework is completed by the following Thursday. 

Reading 

Children will be sent home with a reading book each week. If you would like your child's book to be changed, please ensure that their book is returned to school on a Wednesday. The children will then be issued a new book for the next week. 

Spellings

Each Friday, children will be set spellings. You will find the lists of spellings on this page, on Seesaw and in the back of your child's spelling book. Please only learn the list your child is working on. Please support your child to practise the spellings over the week, ready to be tested the following Friday. 

PE

Our PE lesson will be taking place every Monday afternoon. Please can you ensure that your child has their PE Kit in school, to change into.
