Applying for a primary school place - Admission to Reception 2024

 

Applications for admission to Reception 2024 are processed by Gloucestershire County Council.  Please refer to their admissions page for further information.

Admission to Reception at Primary School 2024

Admissions to Reception for September 2024 are dealt with by the Co-ordinated Admissions Team at Gloucestershire County Council.  Applications for 2024 intake will need to be submitted between November 2023 and 15 January 2024.  Please see key dates of the process below:

Application Window. Closing date for school applications is  Midnight on 15 January 2024

Closing date for Summer-born deferment requests

requesting to be put on waiting list/s

Applying for a place during the school year

If you move to the area during the school year or your child needs to move school for other reasons, you will need to apply for a school place by contacting us directly using the forms below. 

Please note an application is not an in year application if your child is due to start school in Reception in September 2023 for the first time.  In this circumstance please refer to Gloucestershire County Council admissions page.

 

 

 

Once the forms has been completed you will need to return the form to school either by post or by email to office@woolaston.gloucs.sch.uk
